Mr. Tavolacci has had over forty years in business and technical management, leaving him with the nickname “Professor Joe” among his You Can Learn, Inc., employees. He has had a stellar career full of success and exciting experiences that have lead him to create business alliances, negotiate critical contracts, manage information systems, and develop key corporate strategies. After working with General Electric, Harris Corporation, One to One Marketing, Computershare, he and Mrs. Tavolacci decided to relocate from New York to Tampa, Florida, where Tavolacci and Associates Inc., the parent company of You Can Learn, Inc., was founded. His love of new technology and education lead him to create the concept that “education is not one size fits all” that powers these educational apps.

Eugenia R. Tavolacci
Vice President
Ms. Tavolacci brings over forty years of business experience in all levels of management ─ from level one management to owner/operator of a highly successful service business. She has worked with both Fortune 500 and mid-size companies such as Merrill Lynch, Frederick Hatch & Company, and Deltec Bank & Trust, specializing in client relationship management. Ms. Tavolacci is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and English. She has exceptional people and communication skills and is a co-founder of Tavolacci & Associates, Inc., as well as a major stockholder.

Lissette Colón, a New York native, serves as the Director of Marketing for You Can Learn, Inc. After graduating from the School of Westchester in New
York with her A.A.S in Multimedia Management and Development, she studied at New York’s School of Visual arts. A lifelong learner, Lissette balances attending the University of South Florida as a Public Relations major with her work for You Can Learn, Inc., by keeping her trusty iPad in hand to keep up with blogs and technology news from around the world. Lissette loves the arts and enjoys reading blogs, cycling off-road, cooking and learning social media strategies.

Dr. Henrick Jeanty
Director of Research
Dr. Henrick Jeanty received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the City College of New York in 1990, and has been a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Florida since 2004. As a software architect, he has led the research and software architecture team at ForexTrend, Inc., designing and implementing technical analysis algorithms to analyze stock prices. He has held key technical and leadership positions at Nielsen Media Research and United Parcel Service’s Research Laboratory in Danbury, Connecticut. He has also worked in IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Laboratory in image processing and handwriting recognition development. He holds two patents related to online character segmentation and online handwritten character recognition. As a Ph.D. student, Dr. Jeanty helped design software to detect cancer in histological images in the Department of Pathology at the Mount Sinai Hospital.
With more than 30 years of leadership and developmental experience in programming, hardware, and systems technology, Dr. Jeanty, as You Can Learn’s Director of Research, is responsible for defining, evaluating and implementing all technological resources and methodologies at You Can Learn, Inc.
In his free time Henrick can be found playing with his 9 year old daughter and 2 year old son, or reading about programming and writing programs. Henrick also loves designing word games, and his idea of fun is a nice long road trip with his family to some beautiful place off the beaten path.

Mark Turner
Director of Application Development
Mark wears many technical hats at You Can Learn, Inc., but his greatest role is as Lead iOS Application Developer and webmaster of Youcanlearn.com. Mark is a graduate of the University of South Florida and acquired a BSCS and MSCS in Computer Science, as well as an MBA in the Management Information Systems Track. When not working, Mark enjoys watching Community and other television shows or playing video games.
